MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed Alissa meting with Indian Scholar Shaikh Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani
His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, held an important meeting this evening with Shaikh Khalil-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani, the Rector of Darul Uloom University in India.
During the meeting, the two prominent Islamic scholars discussed a range of issues concerning religious education, global Islamic cooperation, and strategies to promote moderation and tolerance across Muslim communities. The discussions also explored opportunities to deepen academic collaboration between Islamic institutions in Saudi Arabia and India.
Dr. Alissa highlighted the MWL’s ongoing initiatives to promote dialogue, unity, and peace within the Muslim world and beyond. He also commended Darul Uloom University’s contributions to Islamic learning and its pivotal role in shaping religious thought in the Indian subcontinent.
