National Horse and Cattle Show 2025 Returns with Grand Festivities in Lahore

The National Horse and Cattle Show 2025 made a spectacular comeback at Fortress Stadium, Lahore, after several years, celebrating Pakistan’s rich cultural and agricultural heritage. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the prestigious event, marking a historic moment for the country.
The grand opening featured a traditional carriage arrival, a livestock parade, and thrilling performances. International tent pegging and archery teams from countries like Kuwait, Norway, Iran, Turkey, and the U.S. participated, adding a global flair to the event. The livestock exhibition showcased Punjab’s finest breeds, including Nili-Ravi buffaloes, Sahiwal cows, and Mandri sheep, captivating attendees.
A highlight of the show was the cultural float parade, featuring regional dances and musical performances, while a mystical Dervish dance and Slovakian laser acts mesmerized spectators. Renowned singer Atif Aslam’s electrifying performance, coupled with aerial drone displays and torch lighting, added to the spectacle.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif received a warm reception from the crowd, with spectators praising her efforts to revive this cherished national tradition. The National Horse and Cattle Show 2025 not only celebrated Pakistan’s heritage but also showcased its cultural grandeur on the global stage.
