OIC Condemns Israeli Occupation’s ‘Heinous Massacre’ in Beit Lahia

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the brutal massacre carried out by Israeli occupation forces in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of over 80 civilians and left dozens injured.

The OIC regards this atrocity as part of a broader pattern of massacres, acts of genocide, and ethnic cleansing directed at the Palestinian people, which blatantly violates international values, conventions, United Nations resolutions, and relevant rulings from the International Court of Justice.

In its statement, the OIC highlighted the ongoing escalation of war crimes, widespread destruction, starvation, forced displacements, attacks on displaced persons, and the obstruction of humanitarian aid as a serious stain on the conscience of humanity. The organization urged the international community to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for these crimes and to end the prevailing culture of impunity.

Additionally, the OIC reiterated its urgent appeal to the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities by enforcing an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire, providing international protection for the Palestinian people, and ensuring urgent humanitarian access across all areas of the Gaza Strip.
