OIC Condemns Israeli Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Escalating Attacks on Gaza
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has issued a firm condemnation of Israel’s recent storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, led by an extremist Israeli minister and settlers. The OIC described this act as a deliberate provocation and a clear violation of United Nations resolutions. The OIC reiterated its firm stance against Israel’s ongoing violations of sacred Islamic sites and its broader actions against Palestinians.
In addition to the Al-Aqsa incident, the OIC condemned the escalating Israeli attacks on humanitarian, medical, and journalistic personnel in Gaza. A particular point of outrage was the massacre at an UNRWA clinic in the Jabalia camp, where 19 civilians, including nine children, were killed. The OIC also highlighted the execution of aid workers in Rafah, further intensifying the humanitarian crisis in the region.
The OIC labeled these actions as war crimes and called for international accountability in line with global law. The organization appealed to the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to halt Israel’s violations of holy sites and its ongoing campaign of genocide, forced displacement, and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
In its statement, the OIC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Palestinian rights and urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for its actions.
