OIC Condemns Israeli Strikes on Syria, Calls for UN Action

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing military aggression on Syrian territory, including the recent deadly airstrike on the town of Koya. The attack, which resulted in six deaths and multiple injuries, has been labeled a violation of Syria’s sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter, according to a statement from the Saudi Press Agency.

The Jeddah-based OIC urged the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to halt Israeli military operations in Syria. The organization reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic, emphasizing the need for global intervention to prevent further escalation.

Israel has not officially commented on the strike, but tensions in the region continue to rise amid ongoing cross-border conflicts and security concerns.
