Omani Business Delegation Meets Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori
A high-profile delegation of Omani businessmen, led by Engineer Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari, Consul General of Oman, met with Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House Karachi to discuss opportunities for economic collaboration and investment.
Strengthening Bilateral Trade and Investment
The meeting focused on enhancing trade relations between Oman and Sindh, exploring investment opportunities in various sectors, including energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and information technology. Governor Tessori welcomed Omani investors, emphasizing the strategic importance of Pakistan-Oman relations.
“Pakistan and Oman historical, cultural, and economic ties. Sindh, being a major economic hub, offers vast investment opportunities for Omani businesses, particularly in Karachi’s industrial and financial sectors,” said Governor Tessori.
Oman’s Interest in Sindh’s Business Landscape
Engineer Sami Abdullah Al Khanjari highlighted Oman’s keen interest in investing in Pakistan, particularly in projects related to **renewable energy, ports, logistics, and trade facilitation.** He stated:
“Oman values its longstanding relationship with Pakistan. We are here to explore avenues for economic cooperation and facilitate Omani businesses in investing in Sindh’s dynamic market.”
The delegation also discussed joint ventures between Omani and Pakistani enterprises to boost bilateral trade and increase exports between the two nations.
