Pakistan Accuses Foreign Intelligence Agencies of Destabilizing Baluchistan
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, has accused foreign intelligence agencies of fueling unrest in Baluchistan, claiming Islamabad possesses “irrefutable evidence” of their involvement in supporting militant groups.
Speaking at the OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Jeddah, Dar highlighted Pakistan’s security measures, including military operations, intelligence-based crackdowns, and economic reforms, to counteract insurgency in the region.
He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm stance on Palestine, condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank, while praising Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt for their diplomatic efforts.
Dar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to national security, announcing stricter regulations on foreign funding, enhanced border security, and rehabilitation programs for ex-militants.
With Baluchistan’s stability being a top priority, Islamabad continues to dismantle terrorist hideouts while advancing economic projects like CPEC and Gwadar Port to address local grievances and curb insurgency.
