Pakistan Announces Final Squad for SAFF Women’s Championship 2024 in Nepal

The Pakistan Football Federation has revealed the final squad for the upcoming SAFF Women’s Championship 2024, which will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, later this month.

Scheduled to take place from October 17 to 30, the championship will see Pakistan field a strong lineup. Goalkeepers Nisha Ashraf, Mafia Parveen, and Rumaisa Khan have been selected, along with defenders Kayla Siddiqui, Mishal Bhatti, Sarah Khan, Nazalia Siddiqui, Sophia Qureshi, Fatima Nasir, and Mehreen Khan.

The midfielders include Soha Hirani, captain Maria Khan, Sana Mahdi, Amna Hanif, Rameen Fareed, and Kainat Bukhari. The forward line will be led by Nadia Khan, Zameena Malik, Isra Khan, Anmol Hira, Anoushay Usman, and Aaliya Sadiq.

The national squad will leave for Nepal on October 12 via Dubai. Pakistan’s first match in the tournament is against arch-rivals India on October 17, followed by a group-stage clash with Bangladesh on October 20. Both games are set for 4:45 p.m. local time.
