Pakistan Announces Playing XI for First Test Against England

Pakistan has announced its playing XI for the first Test against England, which begins on Monday, October 7, in Multan. Fast bowler Aamir Jamal has been included in the team. Captain Shan Masood emphasized that this is their best lineup, and Jamal’s addition will be beneficial. He also noted the need for a solid strategy against England, despite the absence of all-rounder Ben Stokes. The first two Tests will be held from October 7-11 and October 15-19, with a third Test scheduled in Rawalpindi from October 24-28.
