Kashmir Will Become Pakistan, DG ISPR Warns India and Afghanistan Over Terror Links
Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, stated that the moment has arrived for Kashmir to become part of Pakistan. Addressing a special session attended by more than 2,500 students from universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he strongly condemned India’s hostile policies and its attempts to destabilize Pakistan by using Afghan territory.
The session, filled with the national spirit, echoed with slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan,” as students expressed their deep-rooted support for the country and its armed forces. Addressing the audience, the DG ISPR highlighted that India miscalculated Pakistan’s resolve, assuming that cross-border strikes would go unanswered. On 6 and 7 May, Pakistan responded by targeting the Indian airbases used for those attacks, ensuring that no civilian population or infrastructure was harmed, reflecting Pakistan’s priority for peace. He warned that any future provocation would face an even more intense and decisive military response.
Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif condemned India’s continued involvement in acts of terrorism across Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, and accused New Delhi of exploiting Afghan soil to destabilize the region. Referring to the martyrdom of a seven-year-old boy in Muzaffarabad due to Indian shelling, he confirmed that the responsible Indian brigade headquarters had been destroyed in retaliation. The DG ISPR appealed to the Afghan people, urging them not to become tools in India’s regional games and to deny sanctuary to terrorists. He criticized India’s treatment of Kashmiris and called upon Afghans to reject ties with a country that violates the dignity of Muslim women and children in the region.
