Pakistan Army Downs Two Indian Quadcopters in One Day Along LoC
The Pakistan Army successfully intercepted and shot down two Indian surveillance quadcopters on Tuesday along the Line of Control (LoC), according to credible security sources.
Indian Drone Shot Down in Satwal Sector
The first quadcopter, identified as an Indian Phantom-4 drone, was downed while it was conducting aerial surveillance inside Pakistani territory in the Satwal sector of the LoC. The swift action demonstrated the high alert and operational readiness of Pakistani forces in the border region.
Second Quadcopter Neutralized in Bhimber’s Manawar Sector
Earlier in the day, troops from the Pakistan Army also took down another Indian quadcopter belonging to the 5 Assam Regiment in the Manawar sector of Bhimber. Both intrusions occurred within a few hours, raising alarms over repeated violations of Pakistan’s airspace.
Defense Analysts Condemn Escalatory Tactics
Defense analysts criticized the continued violation of Pakistani airspace, calling it a provocative and irresponsible act by the Indian military. They noted that these repeated incursions undermine regional peace and reflect a pattern of aggressive posturing.
“The precision with which these quadcopters were intercepted highlights the Pakistan Army’s vigilance and unwavering commitment to national security,” said a senior defense expert.
Pakistan Army’s Message: No Tolerance for Hostile Surveillance
Officials confirmed that the Pakistan Army remains fully alert and prepared to respond decisively to any form of aggression. The military’s robust air defense capability serves as a strong deterrent against future provocations.
“Such hostile activities by the adversary are deliberate attempts to escalate tensions. However, the Pakistan Army is well-prepared to counter any threat with a strong and timely response,” the official added.
These recent incidents underscore the fragile situation along the Line of Control and the urgent need for diplomatic channels to prevent further escalation.
