
Pakistan Army Inducts Advanced Z-10ME Attack Helicopters

RAWALPINDI — The Pakistan Army has officially inducted the Z-10ME attack helicopter into the Army Aviation Corps. The induction ceremony took place at Multan Garrison and was overseen by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M).
During his visit, the COAS observed a high-intensity firepower demonstration by the newly inducted helicopters at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges, showcasing the aircraft’s superior precision and multi-role combat readiness.
The induction of the Z-10ME, a next-generation, all-weather attack helicopter, represents a pivotal milestone in the modernization of Army Aviation. Designed for day and night precision strike operations, the platform is equipped with sophisticated radar systems and electronic warfare suites, enhancing the military’s ability to neutralize a broad range of aerial and ground-based threats.
According to ISPR, the new fleet will play a vital role in integrated battlefield operations, delivering decisive combat effects and reinforcing the Army’s operational readiness against evolving threats.
Field Marshal Asim Munir commended the professionalism, discipline, and combat readiness of troops participating in the live demonstration. He praised their exceptional morale and operational proficiency, describing the exercise as a testament to the Army’s preparedness to respond to diverse and dynamic threats.
Earlier in the day, the Army Chief received a comprehensive briefing at the Corps Headquarters in Multan on the operational preparedness and training regimes of the formation. He expressed satisfaction with the high standards and reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to defending national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
