ISLAMABAD — Australian Ambassador to Pakistan, Neil Hawkins, met Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, at the Ministry of Railways on Friday to discuss boosting bilateral cooperation and expanding partnerships in rail transport, education, and cultural exchange.
Both sides agreed to explore modern collaboration in the railway sector, focusing on technical expertise exchange, operational best practices, and training programs to enhance the capacity of Pakistan Railways. Plans for launching tourism-based rail services and technical assistance initiatives were also discussed.
