Pakistan Calls for Promotion of Agricultural, Meat, and Dairy Products at Singapore International Agri-Food Week

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Singapore, Rabia Shafiq, urged the maximization of international events to boost the visibility of Pakistan’s agricultural, meat, and dairy products in Singapore, as well as across the broader ASEAN market.

Speaking at a meeting with representatives of companies participating in the Singapore International Agri-Food Week, High Commissioner Shafiq emphasized the potential of such platforms to create new business opportunities and expand the reach of Pakistan’s food products. She highlighted that events like these are crucial for showcasing Pakistan’s rich culinary heritage and agricultural excellence.

The Singapore International Agri-Food Week serves as a key event where global industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators come together to foster partnerships and explore developments in agri-food technology. The platform is also instrumental in driving the region’s shift toward a sustainable and healthy agri-food system.

Shafiq noted the growing interest in sustainable food practices and the opportunity for Pakistan to position itself as a leader in high-quality, diverse food products, contributing to the ASEAN market’s needs.
