Pakistan Consul General Joins Inaugural Ceremony of Arab Classic Dubai-2024 Baseball Tournament

Pakistan’s Consul General, Hussain Muhammad, attended the opening of the Arab Classic Dubai-2024 baseball tournament on Wednesday at the Dubai Sports Council. The ceremony was attended by prominent personalities, including Baseball United’s Chairman and CEO, Kash Shaikh, as well as key partners and legendary baseball players.

The tournament, running from November 7 to 10, features nine countries, with Pakistan’s national baseball team set to compete. One of the key matches will be Pakistan against India, scheduled for November 8.

Speaking at the event, Consul General Hussain Muhammad expressed excitement about Pakistan’s role in advancing baseball in the Middle East. He emphasized that the tournament would play a crucial role in enhancing people-to-people relations and promoting sports diplomacy in the region. The event highlights the growing interest and investment in baseball, a sport gaining popularity across the Middle East.
