Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a productive phone discussion with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen on Saturday, focusing on expanding bilateral relations and fostering economic collaboration.

Commitment to Economic Partnership

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to transforming Pakistan-Denmark relations into a robust economic partnership. They explored avenues to enhance trade and investment, particularly through public-private partnerships, aiming for mutual economic growth.

Multilateral Cooperation at the UN

As non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2025-2026, Pakistan and Denmark pledged to work together on global peace, sustainable development, and common strategic interests.

The discussion highlighted the shared vision for deeper cooperation in economic and diplomatic domains, further strengthening the longstanding Pakistan-Denmark friendship.
