Pakistan Denounces India’s Hostile Rhetoric, Calls for Regional Dialogue

Report by Syed Farzand Ali

Pakistan has strongly criticized a series of antagonistic statements by Indian officials and political leaders, calling the remarks harmful to regional stability and reiterating its commitment to peace, dialogue, and a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

On Monday, Pakistan’s Foreign Office denounced recent inflammatory statements made by Indian political leaders and the spokesperson of India’s Ministry of External Affairs. The remarks, issued during political events and public addresses, were described as “deeply troubling” and reflective of a dangerous mindset that threatens peace in South Asia.

A spokesperson from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that such rhetoric, which falsely blames Pakistan for regional instability, is misleading and aimed at deflecting attention from India’s own controversial actions.

Emphasizing the unresolved status of Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan reaffirmed that the region remains the key challenge to lasting peace between the two nations. The spokesperson underscored Pakistan’s support for a resolution based on United Nations Security Council resolutions and the will of the Kashmiri people.

“To ignore this fundamental dispute is to risk continued mistrust and further conflict,” the official noted.

While reaffirming its commitment to constructive engagement, Pakistan warned that it would not compromise its sovereignty. The Foreign Office criticized India’s political rhetoric as a futile exercise in aggression, stating that threats and misinformation cannot yield sustainable outcomes.

“India will not achieve peace through coercion or distortion of facts,” the statement read.

Pakistan urged India to adopt a more responsible and diplomatic approach, emphasizing that peace in South Asia depends on maturity, restraint, and addressing the root causes of conflict.

“Lasting peace demands courage to confront reality, not short-sighted political gains,” the Foreign Office concluded.
