Pakistan Diplomatic Missions Mark Kashmir Solidarity Day with Global Observances

Pakistan’s diplomatic missions around the world observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on Wednesday, reaffirming the country’s commitment to supporting the Kashmiri people in their struggle for self-determination and advocating for a peaceful solution to the longstanding dispute.
From Europe to the Middle East, Pakistan’s embassies and consulates organized a variety of events, including seminars, webinars, photo exhibitions, and discussions, which were attended by Pakistani expatriates, foreign diplomats, academics, and human rights activists. These events highlighted the unrelenting human rights violations faced by Kashmiris under Indian occupation and underscored Pakistan’s stance on the UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions as the basis for a just solution.
Diplomatic Support for Kashmir
In his address, Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people, emphasizing the legitimacy of their peaceful struggle. She dismissed India’s attempts to demonize the freedom movement, reaffirming that it aligns with international law and UNSC resolutions.
At the **Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi paid tribute to the Kashmiri people’s resilience over the last seven decades, while reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering diplomatic and political backing for their right to self-determination.
In Jordan, the Pakistan Embassy hosted a seminar with prominent scholars and activists discussing the history and challenges faced by Kashmiris, calling for international intervention to resolve the issue.

In Switzerland, the embassy’s event brought together Kashmiri community members, who united in expressing their solidarity with their counterparts in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Similarly, the Embassy in Lebanon held a webinar where Pakistani and Lebanese journalists discussed the impact of Indian oppression in the region.
Kashmir Solidarity Day was also observed at Pakistan’s **Embassy in Tokyo, where a photo exhibition depicted the severe conditions faced by Kashmiris under Indian control. Ambassador Raza Bashir Tarar addressed attendees, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmiri cause.
