The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing has taken a major step toward empowering its community in China by launching an innovative mentorship program during the 2nd Pakistan Professionals and Students Forum 2025. The event was held under the theme “Mentorship: Learning from the Learned”, aiming to connect experienced professionals with aspiring students to foster growth, collaboration, and career development.
The forum served as a platform for Pakistani professionals, students, academics, and entrepreneurs residing in China to strengthen community engagement and explore career prospects, especially those arising from the evolving opportunities under CPEC Phase II.
In a special video message, Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, commended the Embassy for initiating such a meaningful program. He emphasized the significance of building a culture where experience guides ambition and personal achievement contributes to the collective advancement of the community. Ambassador Hashmi also shared recent milestones, including:
- The launch of the Yangling Agriculture Initiative,

- And the unveiling of a new, user-friendly embassy website focused on community feedback and engagement.
The event featured two in-depth panel discussions on:

Notable panelists included representatives from UNESCO, Renmin University, ZBRA, the China United Nations Procurement Promotion Association, and leading Pakistani scholars and professionals based in China.
