In a gesture of solidarity and friendship, the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing has been beautifully decorated with vibrant lights and traditional Chinese lanterns ahead of the Chinese New Year and Spring Festival. The celebrations, set to begin on January 29, mark one of the most significant cultural events in China.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, extended heartfelt greetings to the Chinese people on the occasion of the Year of the Snake. He emphasized that the dazzling decorations at the embassy symbolize the enduring bond between Pakistan and China. Sharing his thoughts on social media, Hashmi remarked that the embassy is embracing the spirit of the festival, honoring traditions that strengthen the ties between the two nations.

The Chinese New Year, commonly referred to as the Spring Festival, follows the lunar calendar and is a time of family reunions, cultural festivities, and joyous celebrations. It is the most awaited holiday in China, spanning 15 days and concluding with the first full moon of the lunar calendar.
