The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi held a special ceremony to launch the book *Zabaan-e-Yara-e-Man Turkey*, written by acclaimed author Dr. Aslam Tasawar Bhutta. The event brought together literary enthusiasts, intellectuals, and members of the Pakistani community in the UAE.

The book offers a profound exploration of Turkey’s cultural identity, delving into its historical legacy, societal values, and linguistic richness. Through personal insights and scholarly observation, the author presents an engaging narrative that highlights the deep-rooted connection between Turkey and the broader Muslim world.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, addressed the audience, commending Dr. Bhutta’s literary contribution. He described the work as a reflection of the author’s passion for language, heritage, and history. “Books like this serve as bridges between cultures. They inspire understanding and appreciation,” said the ambassador. He also shared how the book rekindled his own memories of traveling to Turkey.

In his remarks, Ambassador Tirmizi also acknowledged Sarmad Khan’s key role in promoting Urdu literature globally, particularly through the successful establishment of a Pakistan-themed stall at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025.

A significant highlight of the event was the announcement that all proceeds from the book will be donated to the Akhuwat Foundation, a leading charity in Pakistan. This philanthropic gesture was widely appreciated by attendees.

During the panel discussion, literary scholar Dr. Hassan Khalil described the book as a moving literary masterpiece. He noted its success at the Pakistan Kitab Mela, calling it a source of pride for Urdu readers worldwide.

Dr. Shabeena Aslam, the author’s sister, spoke about Dr. Bhutta’s dedication to social causes and his commitment to using literature as a force for good. She emphasized that the book’s message of unity and its charitable mission have contributed to its growing popularity.

Arif Anees, a prominent cultural advocate, highlighted the book’s celebration of Islamic heritage. He also announced that UNESCO has awarded Dr. Bhutta an honorary doctorate in recognition of his literary and cultural achievements.
