Pakistan’s National Assembly Unanimously Passes Resolution in Support of Palestinians, Condemns Israeli Aggression

The National Assembly of Pakistan on Monday unanimously adopted a resolution expressing strong support for the Palestinian people and sharply condemning Israeli aggression, in a significant reaffirmation of Pakistan’s longstanding solidarity with Palestine.

The resolution was tabled by Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, who reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering stance on the rights of the Palestinian people and denounced Israel’s continued acts of violence, despite calls for a ceasefire.

According to the resolution, the House strongly condemned the Israeli bombardment even after the announcement of a ceasefire, viewing it as a blatant act of aggression and a failure of the international community to uphold justice and human rights.

The National Assembly paid tribute to the 60,000 Palestinian martyrs, acknowledging their sacrifices in the struggle for freedom and dignity. The lawmakers observed that the ongoing atrocities committed by Israeli forces represent grave human rights violations and demanded an immediate withdrawal of Israeli troops from Palestinian territories.

The resolution declared Israel’s actions as a symbol of global inaction and silence in the face of injustice, and urged the international community to break its silence and act in accordance with international law.

During the session, Federal Minister Tarar emphasized that neither in Palestine nor in Indian-occupied Kashmir can the voice of the oppressed be silenced by force or violence, calling for united global support for all occupied peoples.

The passage of this resolution reflects Pakistan’s firm diplomatic and moral stance on the Palestinian cause and sends a clear message of support for those facing occupation and aggression.
