Pakistan has advanced to the semifinals of the Hong Kong Super Sixes after defeating South Africa by a convincing 17-run margin in the quarterfinals. The national squad posted a competitive 105 runs for 3 wickets in the allotted 6 overs, setting a formidable target of 106 for South Africa.

In an explosive batting display, Mohammad Ikhlaq smashed 53 runs off just 16 balls, while Hussain Talat contributed a quick 27 off 11 balls. In their chase, South Africa fell short, managing 88 runs with 4 wickets down. Hussain Talat also made his mark in bowling, taking two key wickets to restrict the South African side.

Meanwhile, in an earlier match, UAE knocked India out of the tournament, delivering a surprising twist in the competition.

The Hong Kong Super Sixes semifinals and final are scheduled for tomorrow, where Pakistan will compete for a place in the final and a shot at the title.
