Pakistan Railways Announces Restoration of Khushhal Khan Khattak Express

Pakistan Railways has officially announced the restoration of the Khushhal Khan Khattak Express, which is set to resume operations by the end of April 2025.

According to railway officials, the train service was suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in light of improved conditions and strong public demand, the decision has been made to reinstate this vital service.

The Khushhal Khan Khattak Express is known for being a profitable and passenger-friendly train operating on Main Line 2 (ML-2). It connects major cities between Karachi and Peshawar, providing an affordable and accessible travel option for passengers across southern and northern regions of the country.
