Pakistan Reaffirms Travel Ban to Israel, Clarifies Passport Restrictions

Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, has reaffirmed that Pakistani passports remain invalid for travel to Israel, dismissing recent reports about Pakistani journalists visiting the country.

Clarifying the government’s position, the spokesperson stated that existing regulations do not permit any travel to Israel using a Pakistani passport, as it explicitly mentions, “Not valid for travel to Israel.”

Pakistan’s policy on Israel remains unchanged. The country does not recognize Israel and continues to support Palestinian rights, including the establishment of an independent state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The Foreign Office reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to a peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue, aligned with United Nations resolutions and the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
