Pakistan Security Forces Eliminate 16 Militants Attempting Border Infiltration

Pakistan’s security forces successfully neutralized 16 militants attempting to infiltrate the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Ghulam Khan Kallay area of North Waziristan.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the infiltration attempt occurred on the night of March 22-23, when security personnel detected movement along the border. Swift action by Pakistani forces led to an intense exchange of fire, resulting in the elimination of all intruders.

Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Interim Afghan Government to implement effective border control measures and prevent its territory from being used for terrorist activities against Pakistan. Authorities expect Afghanistan to fulfill its obligations and curb such cross-border threats.

Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in protecting national borders and are committed to eradicating terrorism to ensure long-term stability in the region.
