RAWALPINDI — Pakistan’s security forces eliminated seven Indian-sponsored terrorists, including three Afghan nationals and two suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Sunday.
According to the ISPR, troops swiftly engaged the terrorists following credible intelligence about their hideout. “Seven Indian-backed Khwarij, including three Afghan nationals and two suicide bombers, were neutralized,” the statement said.
The military spokesperson stressed that Pakistan expects the Interim Afghan Government to uphold its commitments and ensure Afghan soil is not used for terrorist activities against Pakistan.
A clearance and sanitization operation is currently underway in the region to eliminate any remaining militant presence. The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully determined to eradicate terrorism and protect the nation from Indian-sponsored destabilization efforts.
