ISLAMABAD – Pakistan is gearing up to export skilled manpower to the State of Kuwait, in a strategic move to expand overseas employment opportunities for Pakistani workers. The initiative, spearheaded by the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC)—an arm of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD)—aims to strengthen bilateral labor cooperation between the two countries.

An official from the ministry confirmed that the latest recruitment drive focuses on skilled workers in the construction sector, including steel fixers, carpenters, masons, and tile fixers.

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a diploma or certification in the relevant trade
  • Have 2 to 3 years of practical experience
  • Be under the age of 45

This initiative is part of Pakistan’s broader push to connect its trained labor force with international markets, ensuring decent employment abroad while contributing to foreign remittances.

Selected candidates will enjoy a comprehensive package of benefits, including:

  • Free shared accommodation with essential furnishings and air conditioning
  • Three daily meals and tea served at an on-site staff cafeteria
  • Free economy-class airfare from Pakistan to Kuwait, plus local transportation
  • Return ticket provided either at the end of the contract or during annual leave

Interested individuals can apply online through the official OEC website:
