Pakistan to Host National Padel Championship 2025 in Karachi

Report by Muhammad Furqan

The Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF), in collaboration with Padelverse, Play Pro, and Padel-Asia, will organize the National Padel Championship 2025 from April 11 to 13 in Karachi. This tournament will be held under the International Padel Federation’s umbrella, aiming to promote the fast-growing sport in the country.

The championship will feature Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed categories, encouraging broad participation. In a move to boost engagement, the PPF has waived the National Padel License fee, making it free for all players.

With a total prize pool of PKR 1 million, winners, runners-up, and second runners-up across all three categories will receive cash prizes, trophies, certificates, shields, and gift items. Additionally, outstanding performers will be shortlisted for Pakistan’s national team, which will compete in the Asian Padel Championship 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this October.

PPF President Muhammad Mateen reaffirmed the federation’s commitment to developing padel at the grassroots level, calling on corporate sponsors to support the initiative. He emphasized that the event will serve as a stepping stone for Pakistani talent, helping to build a strong national presence in international padel competitions.

The National Padel Championship 2025 is set to be an exciting showcase of skill, competition, and sportsmanship, further elevating padel’s popularity across Pakistan.
