Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, emphasized the growing role of fashion in cultural diplomacy during a multi-designer, multi-cultural fashion show held at the Pakistani Embassy in Paris. The event, organized in collaboration with **Fashion London**, celebrated the diverse cultures and fashion scenes of **Pakistan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom**.
Ambassador Ahmad, addressing the gathering of diplomats, French officials, fashion enthusiasts, and media, remarked on the unique ability of fashion to tell a nation’s story. “Fashion, much like food, art, and sports, speaks volumes about a nation’s culture,” he said, noting that cultural diplomacy remains a priority for the Pakistani Embassy. The event, titled **”Spring Summer 2025 Paris,”** featured six internationally recognized designers, showcasing their collections that intertwined tradition and modernity.
Ahmad also praised the creativity and craftsmanship behind the showcased designs, stating that each garment reflected a rich cultural history, conveyed through fabric choices, color palettes, and intricate details. He thanked **Geoff Cox**, Executive Producer of Fashion London, for his efforts in bringing together such a vibrant display of fashion.
The show featured designs from **Lenie Boya, Ana Bari, Natz Couture, Alex Le Mez, Karen Gold, and Omar Mansoor**, captivating the audience with their artistic expressions and luxurious designs.
