Pakistan’s Consul General Hussain Muhammad has applauded the social media platform-turned-community hub Pakistanis in Dubai (PID) for achieving a landmark 200,000 memberships, calling it a testament to the unity and influence of the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE.
The remarks came during the “PID Business Summit”, held in Ajman, where business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members gathered to celebrate the platform’s success.
Consul General Hussain praised the administrators of PID for their dedication and suggested that a data bank of the Pakistani community in the UAE could further strengthen engagement. “This milestone represents a collective effort to bring Pakistanis together and enhance their role in fostering stronger ties with the UAE,” he said.
He highlighted the community’s significant contributions to the UAE’s economy and culture, thanking the UAE leadership for their continued support of expatriates.
Hussain emphasized recent initiatives like the Pakistan Business Council in Sharjah, designed to promote business collaboration and economic growth between Pakistan and the UAE.
“It is our duty to continue supporting the UAE’s development while promoting Pakistan’s rich culture and values globally,” Hussain noted, urging the community to remain united and supportive of one another.
The event underscored the growing influence of the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE and their vital role in strengthening bilateral ties. Hussain’s call for unity and collaboration was well-received by attendees, who echoed their commitment to fostering a positive image of Pakistan abroad.
The milestone celebration not only marked an achievement for PID but also reaffirmed the enduring bond between Pakistan and the UAE.
