Abu Dhabi – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by the recent floods in Pakistan.
Offering heartfelt condolences, Ambassador Tirmizi said the natural disaster, which has wreaked havoc across Buner, Swat, Bajaur, Shangla, Mansehra, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, is a grave trial not only for the victims and their families but for the entire nation.
He urged the Pakistani community living in the UAE to stand united with their countrymen during this difficult time, share their grief, and extend all possible assistance to those affected by the floods.
In a strong gesture of mourning and unity, the ambassador announced the postponement of Independence Day celebrations in the UAE, dedicating the moment to prayers and solidarity with flood-affected families.
“May Allah Almighty grant eternal peace to the departed souls and patience to the bereaved families,” Tirmizi said in his condolence message.
