The vibrant event attracted Emirati dignitaries, diplomats, business leaders, and members of the Pakistani expatriate community, highlighting the growing popularity of Pakistani mangoes in the Gulf region.

Dr. Muhammad Farhan, the festival’s lead organizer, opened the proceedings by thanking Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and the embassy staff for their support in making the festival a success.

In his remarks, Ambassador Tirmizi praised Pakistan’s position as the world’s fourth-largest mango producer, renowned for delivering unmatched flavor, fragrance, and a broad range of varieties. He highlighted that around 60% of Pakistani mango exports are destined for Gulf markets, underscoring the Middle East’s continued appetite for Pakistani mangoes.

“Festivals like the Mango Festival not only showcase Pakistan’s agricultural excellence but also strengthen cultural bonds and friendship between the people of Pakistan and the UAE,” Ambassador Tirmizi stated.

Guests at the event enjoyed an impressive array of Pakistan’s finest mango varieties, sampling their sweetness and celebrating a symbol of national pride.
