Pakistani Noor Zaman Reaches Final of Under-23 World Squash Championships

 

Pakistan’s rising squash star, Noor Zaman, has secured his place in the men’s final of the Under-23 World Squash Championships after an impressive 3-0 victory over Malaysia’s Ameeshenraj Chandran. Zaman’s dominant performance in the semifinal was further highlighted when Chandran had to retire due to injury, handing the match to Zaman.

The victory sets up an exciting final showdown between Zaman and Egypt’s Kareem El Torkey, who advanced to the final by defeating Ibrahim Elkabbani 3-1 in a thrilling contest.

In the plate events, Pakistan continued to shine. Muhammad Ammad earned a spot in the men’s plate final, while Amna Fayyaz secured her place in the women’s plate final after a convincing 3-0 win over Mariam Malik.
