ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to its strategic partnership with China, underscoring the immense potential for enhanced cooperation in trade, economic development, regional connectivity, and cultural exchange.
During a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong conveyed a birthday message from President Xi Jinping to President Zardari, extending warm wishes ahead of his upcoming birthday
President Zardari appreciated China’s longstanding support and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations.
“China has always stood by Pakistan as a trusted friend. There is vast untapped potential for both countries to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors,” said President Zardari.
He stressed the importance of building on the solid foundation of mutual trust and strategic cooperation, especially in promoting peace, security, and regional prosperity.
Ambassador Jiang presented a special message from Chinese President Xi Jinping, conveying heartfelt birthday wishes to President Zardari. The symbolic gesture further emphasized the close personal and diplomatic ties between the leaderships of the two nations.
