Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry to Brief Official Delegates, Students Before Overseas Training

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has announced that official delegates and students nominated for training programs in foreign countries will receive a pre-departure briefing before traveling.

According to a recent circular, MoFA has directed all ministries, divisions, provincial governments, and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to ensure that selected candidates undergo this briefing. The move aims to prepare Pakistani representatives and students for their respective programs abroad.

The ministry is currently working with the HEC to establish a structured briefing process, which will be shared with the relevant authorities in due course. The initiative aligns with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s directives and is expected to enhance Pakistan’s representation in global academic and professional training programs.

All departments have been instructed to strictly comply with this new policy, ensuring that nominees are well-prepared before embarking on their international training journeys.
