
Pakistanis, Including Pilgrims, Safely Evacuated from Syria to Lebanon

Approximately 350 Pakistani nationals, including 245 Zaireen stranded in Syria, have successfully crossed the Syria-Lebanon border to ensure their safe repatriation, according to a statement from the Foreign Office.
This effort was undertaken under the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The Embassy of Pakistan in Damascus coordinated and facilitated the evacuation process.
Deputy Head of Mission (DHM) Umar Hayat personally accompanied the Pakistani nationals to the border. They were received in Lebanon by Nawab Adil, the Deputy Head of Mission in Beirut, ensuring a seamless transition and continued care.
