Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir Meets Saudi Crown Prince

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, engaged in high-level talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his official visit to Saudi Arabia. The meeting, held at the royal palace, saw a ceremonial welcome for the Army Chief, signaling the strength of ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as reported by ISPR.

The dialogue covered critical areas, including regional peace, defense collaborations, and strategies for bolstering security cooperation. General Munir thanked the Crown Prince for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing support to Pakistan and acknowledged his influential role in promoting regional stability.

Alongside this pivotal meeting, General Munir also met with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman. Both leaders expressed their commitment to expanding military and security ties. The Army Chief’s agenda further included discussions with prominent Saudi defense figures, including Deputy Defense Minister Engineer Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi and Royal Saudi Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Air Chief Marshal Fayyadh bin Hameed. These exchanges underscored a joint resolve to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
