PHF Announces Squad for Junior Hockey Asia Cup

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has officially announced the 18-member national team for the upcoming Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2024. Hanan Shahid has been named as captain, with Sufyan appointed as the vice-captain.

The squad includes goalkeeper Ali Raza, along with players Faizan Janjua, Sufyan Khan, Aqeel Ahmed, Bilal Aslam, Nadeem Khan, Muhammad Zain, Waseem, Sami, Zakariya Hayat, Muhammad Imad, Mughira, Rana Waleed, Hamza Fayyaz, Basharat, Qayyum Dogar, and Saifullah.

The Junior Asia Cup is set to kick off on November 26 in Muscat, Oman. Highlighting the tournament’s significance, the PHF selection committee, comprising Danish Kaleem, Kashif Jawad, and Muhammad Khalid, noted that the top six teams from this event will qualify for the Junior World Cup.
