Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed their commitment to unlocking the full potential of bilateral trade and investment, aiming for a $5 billion trade volume.

✅ 30% Trade Growth in 2024 – President Erdogan acknowledged the steady rise in trade but emphasized the need for faster expansion.
✅ Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Proposal – Both leaders discussed expanding the preferential trade agreement into a full-fledged FTA for balanced growth.
✅ Enhanced Connectivity – Focus on reviving the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul railway, leveraging CPEC, and boosting road and rail links.
✅ Strategic Investment Sectors – Opportunities in energy, IT, healthcare, agriculture, and infrastructure.

PM Shehbaz assured government support to convert agreements into actionable projects.
Pakistan-Turkiye Unity – Both nations vowed to stand shoulder-to-shoulder for regional peace, reaffirming support for Gaza and Kashmir.

This visit marks a new era in Pakistan-Turkiye economic cooperation, paving the way for accelerated trade, investment, and strategic collaboration.
