PM Shahbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Economic Cooperation

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have agreed to enhance bilateral economic and trade cooperation. This dialogue took place during the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative.

The Prime Minister extended his best wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and expressed hopes for his swift recovery. He also thanked Crown Prince Mohammed for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support regarding international financial institutions, acknowledging the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation.

During their discussions, PM Sharif commended the Crown Prince’s forward-thinking leadership, highlighting that Saudi Vision 2030 is in harmony with Pakistan’s strategic policy goals.

Both leaders reiterated their commitment to a strong economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, agreeing to amplify collaboration in trade, investment, and economic matters.

Furthermore, PM Sharif noted the recent visit of a high-level Saudi delegation, led by the Minister of Investment, during which several memorandums of understanding (MOUs) were signed, paving the way for deepening economic ties.
