PM Shehbaz Praises Pakistan Air Force’s Role in National Defense

Islamabad —Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its remarkable role in protecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Prime Minister expressed these remarks during a meeting with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, who called on him at the Prime Minister’s Office on Tuesday.

Shehbaz Sharif lauded the PAF’s legacy of valor and professionalism, describing the “Shaheens” of the Air Force as an impregnable shield protecting Pakistan’s skies. He recalled that in the country’s decisive military encounters, the PAF delivered decisive blows to enemy forces, including the successful downing of hostile aircraft in aerial combat.

The meeting also reviewed professional matters concerning the Air Force, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan’s aerial defense.

The Prime Minister assured the government’s continued support in modernizing the PAF, ensuring it remains equipped with advanced technology and operational readiness to counter any external threats.
