
PM Urges Attachés to Focus on Employment for Skilled Pakistani Workers

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on the newly appointed community and labor welfare attachés at Pakistani missions abroad to actively pursue employment opportunities for skilled workers from Pakistan. Speaking to the group at the PM House, he expressed confidence that their appointments were made through a highly transparent process.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator Rana Ehsan Afzal, and other senior government officials.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasized that the welfare of the overseas Pakistani community should be their foremost priority, stating, “Overseas Pakistanis who are bringing valuable foreign exchange worth billions of dollars to Pakistan are our assets.” He urged the attachés to keep Pakistan’s interests at the forefront of their efforts while promoting the country’s image internationally.
Additionally, the prime minister instructed the attachés to explore opportunities for business and investment that could benefit Pakistan. During the meeting, the officials briefed Sharif on their action plans related to their respective postings. The prime minister extended his best wishes to the officials for their upcoming responsibilities.
