Poland, Warsaw Celebrates Epiphany with Colorful Three Kings Procession
On the occasion of Epiphany, celebrated On Monday in Poland, Warsaw came alive with a vibrant and festive Three Kings procession. This annual event, which marks the moment when the three wise men followed a star to Bethlehem to honor the newborn Jesus as the Messiah, saw participants from across the city and beyond joining the colorful celebrations.
The Three Kings, often symbolizing Europe, Asia, and Africa, represent the global mission of peace brought by Jesus. As they paraded through the streets of Warsaw, the procession featured joyous celebrations attended by locals, visitors from other Polish cities, and foreign tourists.
The feast is observed not only by Catholics but also by Evangelicals, Protestants, and Eastern Christians, including Copts, reflecting a shared recognition of the significance of the day. The procession in Warsaw was just one of over 900 such events held across the country, bringing together diverse communities in a spirit of unity and celebration.
