President Zardari’s Visit to China: Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Strategic Cooperation

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong has emphasized the great significance of President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to China, calling it a pivotal moment in advancing China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperation amid global transformations.

In an article on the historical visit, the ambassador noted that high-level strategic guidance from both nations provides a fundamental guarantee for strengthening bilateral relations. He highlighted that this visit will enhance development strategies, fortify economic partnerships, and contribute to a more inclusive global order.

China-Pakistan Ties: A Foundation for Regional Peace and Economic Growth

Ambassador Jiang reaffirmed that China and Pakistan share a strong bond, built on mutual trust and cooperation. He stated:

• The visit will reinforce both nations’ support for each other’s core interests.
• It will deepen policy coordination and promote sustainable development.

Jiang highlighted that under President Xi Jinping’s leadership, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has entered a new phase of upgradation. He credited President Xi and President Zardari’s close communication for providing strategic direction to long-term cooperation.
