President Zardari Meets Newly Appointed Ambassadors, Emphasizes Strengthening Diplomatic Ties

 

President Asif Ali Zardari met with the newly designated ambassadors of Pakistan to Morocco, Switzerland, and the Philippines on Friday, urging them to enhance diplomatic, economic, and trade relations with their respective host countries.

During individual meetings at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the President held discussions with Syed Adil Gilani, appointed as Ambassador to Morocco, Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt, designated for Switzerland, and Dr. Asima Rabbani, posted to the Philippines.

President Zardari emphasized the importance of boosting economic cooperation, trade opportunities, and investment partnerships with friendly nations. He encouraged the ambassadors to represent Pakistan proactively, fostering mutual growth and collaboration.

Congratulating them on their new assignments, he extended his best wishes for their success in promoting Pakistan’s interests on the global stage.
