Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Concludes Official Visit to Saudi Arabia, Returns to Pakistan
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has returned to Pakistan after concluding his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
During his departure from Jeddah Airport, he was bid farewell by Governor of Makkah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, marking the completion of a significant diplomatic trip aimed at enhancing bilateral ties and economic cooperation between the two nations.
The Prime Minister’s visit, spanning March 19 to March 22, focused on strengthening trade, investment, and strategic partnerships. He held high-level discussions with Crown Prince and Saudi Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, exploring avenues for economic collaboration and trade expansion.
Additionally, Shahbaz Sharif met with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih and Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, the Head of the Joint Task Force for Economic Engagement. Their discussions revolved around attracting Saudi investments, expediting joint initiatives, and fostering cooperation in key sectors.
Before departing, the Prime Minister also visited Masjid-e-Nabawi in Madina Munawara, where he paid respects at Roza-e-Rasool (SAW) and later performed Umrah in Makkah Mukarramah.
The visit is expected to strengthen Pakistan-Saudi relations, paving the way for future investments and economic partnerships.
