Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Bids Farewell to Nepalese Ambassador

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday met with the outgoing Ambassador of Nepal, Tapas Adhikari, at the PM House for a farewell visit. During their conversation, the prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strong bilateral relations with Nepal.

Recalling his meeting with Nepalese Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli at the UN General Assembly in New York in September, PM Shahbaz stressed the importance of broadening cooperation, particularly in trade and investment. He acknowledged Ambassador Adhikari’s efforts in enhancing these ties and fostering cultural and people-to-people connections between the two countries.

Ambassador Adhikari expressed his gratitude for the support extended to him during his tenure and commended Pakistan’s progress under the leadership of PM Shahbaz Sharif.

PM Shehbaz also emphasized the importance of regional collaboration to achieve peace and prosperity for South Asia’s populace, highlighting Pakistan’s vision for cooperative growth in the region.
