Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening Pakistan-UK Relations

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif  meeting with British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, on Wednesday. The discussion underscored the shared history and potential for enhanced cooperation across various domains.

Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the importance of advancing bilateral relations through collaborative efforts in key areas such as trade, investment, climate change, and social connectivity. He stressed that addressing Pakistan’s economic challenges and improving coordination on regional and multilateral issues were top priorities.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the significant role of the Pakistani diaspora in the UK, noting their contribution to strengthening the bilateral relationship.

In a gesture of goodwill, Prime Minister Sharif extended his best wishes to King Charles, while High Commissioner Marriott conveyed the British Government’s warm regards and well wishes to Pakistan.
