
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Visits Iranian Embassy, Offers Condolences Over Israeli Aggression

ISLAMABAD — Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday extended heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Iran, reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity during what he described as a difficult and tragic period.
During his visit to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad, the prime minister paid tribute to the resilience and courage of the Iranian nation. He offered prayers for those who had embraced martyrdom in the recent Israeli aggression, as well as for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Shehbaz Sharif signed the condolence book set up at the embassy to honor the martyrs and those affected by the attacks.
He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and the foreign secretary, according to a statement issued by the PM Office Media Wing.
The Iranian delegation, led by Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam, warmly received the prime minister and his team at the embassy.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support, the prime minister also conveyed his best wishes and respects to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei and President Dr. Massoud Pezeshkian.
